Issue 13 marks the return of Arquitexto a topical magazine on architecture in the Dominican Republic. First appearing in 1986 and published through to 1989, Arquitexto reappears in march 1996 in a new format with coverage of current projects and issues on architecture, urbanism, interior design, preservation, art, computers and construction technology as well as dedicated sections for ICOMOS and the "Sociedad de Arquitectos" of the Dominican Republic.

Featured projects and articles in this issue include VZ Offices by Jordi Masalles, Blandino Funeral Home by Miguel Risk and "Anatomía de un Conflicto Urbano", a case study on the political issues that affect urban design in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
